This is a 1967 Holsclaw trailer. It has been in the family for decades. It was used to haul around the first sailboat our family had when I was 14 years old. It is still in pretty good shape. I will clean it up, add a tilt feature, and use it for the navigator.

Now the spar pieces need to be glued together. All of the spars are made from 2 (main is 3) laminations.

The main mast is hollow, to provide floatation so the boat doesn't turtle when capsized. I cut out the center of the middle lamination to make it hollow. This hollow needs to be coated with epoxy.

After the coaming was installed, trimmed it down to final shape. I'm think this configuration looks ok, but if I change my mind, I can trim it more later. There is a small epoxy fillet around the deck to coaming joint also.

Made some cleat blocks from Douglas Fir so the cleats can feed their line over the top of the coaming.
