Fabricating fuel pickup tube

Fuel level pickup full size

The fuel level pickup is made from a piece of tubing. Flare one end. Squeeze the other end shut, then make a series of saw cuts in the end of the tube for a crude strainer. I had to make it twice as I got the bend wrong the first time. Here it is on the tank cover.

Temporarily screwed the cover on and fit the tube.

The anti-rotation bracket full size

Next was selecting the right anti-rotation bracket from those provided. This will be riveted later.
