Priming, riveting Vertical Stablizer spars

Priming Vertical Stabilizer parts full size

I cleaned the parts for the Vertical Stabilizer and then primed them with the rattle can

After the primer was dry, I cleco'd together the rear spar and doubler and the rudder brackets.

I put all the rivets in the rear spar using the squeezer. Well not all, some of them I had to use the rivet gun as the squeezer wouldn't quite get to the right spot.

Next, I riveted the ribs to the front spar. I had to use the rivet gun for most of these rivets also, as the squeezer yoke wouldn't quite work on most of them. After that was done, I cleco'd the skin onto the front spar assembly
