Installing nutplates on seat ribs

Made these from a piece of aluminum bar.

Priming seat ribs full size

Deburred, dimpled, cleaned and primed the seat ribs. I primed them now because nutplates need to be installed before assembling them for skin hole drilling. I also fluted the ribs to make them lie flat.

Inboard rib removable flange riveting full size

Those pieces of the flange on the inner ribs are riveted to a strap so they can be bolted in place. Riveted them together with the squeezer.

Each of the ribs has 3 nutplates. Riveted those into place with the hand squeezer.
