Fittings and Temporary Cover
Installed round hatches in rear of boat. These hatches require using silicone sealant. I don't like that stuff, nor does it work well in a marine environment.
Installed centerboard to test hinge point.
I need to build a temporary cover frame to put a tarp over the boat. It is time to move it out of the garage, so I can start working on the rest of the spars. Here is the forward cover truss.
Templating uprights for the stern cover frame. I use some temporary scraps to find the shape of the supports.
Building center trusses.
Putting boat on the trailer. I jack up the boat and slide the trailer under it.
Boat rolled out of the garage.
Out into the weather for the first time.
